Rafael Gioielli is general manager of the Votorantim Institute. Along with his team, he is responsible for developing and implementing studies, plans and programs to leverage the social impact of Votorantim companies, a 100% Brazilian group operating in more than 20 countries, focusing on basic sectors such as cement, steel, energy, pulp and mining. During the last 15 years, Rafael has been working in corporate social responsibility, seeking to find or create bridges to bring together business and society interests. Rafael holds bachelor, master and PhD from the School of Communication and Arts of São Paulo University. In his career, he worked as a consultant and manager in the private and nonprofit sector.
