Mr. Peter Vonk is a Non-executive Director at SinoLatin Capital since April 2013. Mr. Vonk served as a Corporate Vice President to the Productive and Financial Sector at Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF) from 2002 to August 2012. Mr. Vonk was also a Corporate Vice President of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking and Corporate Vice President of Financial Advisory Services at Corporación Andina de Fomento. Previous to CAF, he was a Director at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank from 1990 until early 2002, responsible for business in Venezuela, Central America and the Caribbean. Additionally, in this position Mr. Vonk worked extensively in the Andean countries. His responsibilities at Deutsche Bank included origination and execution of corporate and structured finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, among other services. Before working for Deutsche Bank, Mr. Vonk was a Vice-President at the Chase Manhattan Bank, Director at Banco Mercantil (Venezuela), and F. Van Lanschot Bankiers (The Netherlands). He has participated in a great number of transactions in the main sectors of economic activity in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago. Additionally, Mr. Vonk has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences related to financing and investing in the Latin American and development of the private sector in the region. He holds a degree in Pedagogy and studied Economics at the Institute for Social Science in The Hague.
