With 20 years of professional experience mainly in the energy sector, Mr. Klein took part in the development of foreign groups in many regions in the world such as Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia and Brazil.
Mr. Klein graduated in Engineering from the French university of Centrale, with an MBA in Leading Changes from the IAE d’Aix en Provence – France – and he is Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce France Brazil since 2013.
He has been responsible for setting from scratch Voltalia in Brazil in 2006, where he has been working as Country Manager since then. Voltalia started to develop wind projects in 2007, believing and betting in this source of energy for Brazil while it was still considered as “an expensive source and not suitable for Brazil.” Despite this, the company persisted and became a few years after one of the main players in the wind sector in Brazil with 300 MW in operation out of a total of 430 MW won at auctions. All those farms, developed “in house” are located in Rio Grande do Norte and have been a continuous extension of the first 90 MW wind farm of Areia Branca, becoming then one of the largest wind cluster in Brazil.
